Play your own SOLO, Part 2 - EOC style, made in rebirth...

Here is the new Jemsitesolo background.

In Engines of creation style...

On the last back there was some changes back and forth between keys, here it's the same two cords through the whole song. Enabling you to think more of the technically impressing stuff than to change key every four bars. Have fun ! Im looking forward to hearing these solos.

BTW, you all will have to find out for yourselves what key this one is in, because it is pretty easy

Enjoy !

Ps, did you miss the last "Play your own SOLO" ?? Check it out here !

The jam track is excellent, very techno downtempo ballad type feel. I would love to see someone try their hand at something more up tempo with harder beats! I'm quite a progressive house/trance/techno freak...! One of my musical confessions!

I'll try my hand at it soon, haven't even gotten over the other jam track, the first one!

Chris.

Im happy to hear you dudes liked it. The thing is that in rebirth there is no polyphony on the synth module, so i had to do a cool melody that covered the cords instead. So, does it sound EOC ?

It's quite EOC. Only 2 minutes though ... if you had added a "B" section (perhaps a distant modulation- "Devil's Slide" (solo section) comes to mind... or loosely related harmonies- like "Power Cosmic 2000" ) then it could be a full length thing. Just something to keep in mind for the next one, because this kinda sounds like a loop (although there is some movement).

Don't worry, I still like it!

Well it is kinda one loop. I guess it goes down to that Rebirth is pretty uncomfortable to work in for me who is born in cubase... *Next two i'll do with cubase and my Synth... *The reason i made it pretty short was to make it easier to fill with interesting pre-planned stuff. etc.. *Glad you liked it

Ok, im guessing that was the shred-fu stuff... *Cool, too baad on the poor sound-quality on your guitar-sound.. Im guessing it is pretty direct from the stompbox to the soundcard huh ?? I can highly recomend putting a lobudget pc-mic infront of a amp, infact i have made that sound pretty ok...
