Recomendations for online teachers?

Hi there. I posted a thread a while back about lessons in my area, and after much ringing round i havnt found that much. I was looking to maybe try out a few online lessons, and the guy i had in mind said hes booked up atm so im basically after any links to guys you recomend. Im not really after anyone who can just shred like sh*t and not teach any theory, or composition etc. Im rather after someone whos got a pretty good technique so that i can get help in that department, but also knows his shi*t about actual music/melody.

I dont know if id be able to have lessons weekly, or fortnightly, depends on the price. So anyone whos cheap and cheerful would be good

Cheers guys

I was a student of Don Lapin's in real life, and he's a great teacher:

Why not head over to Brighton Rock Academy and collar some of the guitar teachers there? I'm sure most will do private lessons aswell...

Good advice rilla, I'd also suggest getting down to any music shops and ask if the staff provide lessons. Every store has a shredder somewhere in my experience!

Also, I was smart enough to ask who taught the staff in my guitar store...and that can expose much potent information....

well, in the meantime, www.geocities.com/drewpeterson7/main.html -I'm rebuilding the page from another geocities site i used to have it on, so if you could give it a once-over and make sure everything on that page at least is working (the lessons page is about all i have almsot finished so far), in the process you'll pick up some stuff that can keep you occupied, for free, until you find a real teacher...
