Smile time for some mean metal...

Hi folks!!!

Here is a metal song that I composed some time ago.
Drums are programmed via Cubase SX,and bass is programmed as well...

I would really like to hear your comment on this one...

Thanks!!!

Re: time for some mean metal...

The harmonies are interesting but I think the main / intro riff needs to be a bit more defined. It's a little bit slurred and imho would've sounded cooler if it was done in an alternate picking hard, hard pick attack (think Paul Gilbert) style.

Cool though !

Re: time for some mean metal...

Thanks for your comment!!!

The intro riff is kinda muddy because I started to record and when it was all over I figured out that I was playing on my NECK pickup instead of bridge.
But ofcourse,I was too lazy to start again :P
And unfortunately, all nuances of my picking and vibrato were not picked up because I recorded via boss gt-5 processor directly into computer and it muffled lot of my nuances and expressions.
Someone else may not notice it but I,as a player who played that piece, can just feel that there is something lacking...

Too bad I live in apartment and cannot get my tubes on fire as much as I want!!!

Sorry man I wasn't trying to be harsh. Please don't feel put off or down hearted as I thought it was a cool tune.
Sometimes I'm a bit of a hard-ass and I need to lighten up. I didn't mean to pick on something that, realisticly is only very slight.

Keep up the good work!

@ Eggy - no problem, man!!!glad you like it.
nevertheless, this was actually my first contact with any sort of multieffect processor(pedal user for years) and I did sound setup on it in few minutes,I really didn't experiment much with it.

@ mi2tom,Zepp3lin:
Thanks a bunch,guys!
Considering the vocals stuff,I guess I will get one for this song...
