I say go for that drive! Do "salties" frequent the beach?

Yeah weird combo of stuff to be listening to at the moment, but I heard that Tool were releasing a new album and the 1993 Reading festival version of Sober came up on my YouTube feed, so as I ended up going down the whole Tool rabbit-hole of weird time signatures and hair-raising lyrics. I was already listening to DLR because I was going back through "ladies night " to try and remember how to play it. (Also Skyscraper has been on repeat).

No Salties down this far, we have Great White sharks though, so that's nice.

Billboard needs to clean up their website.

Key point:
- Taylor Swiftís album that debuted last week is bumped down to #2. Toolís album debuts at #1.

This does not really mean anything of great importance, but when a band whoís last album came out before many Swift fans were born, it is rather impressive. Tool brought variety back, at least for 1 week.

I think it is actually pretty amazing! I have been listening to the whole album as background music while I'm doing other things. I call it "passive listening" and it seems more musical information is absorbed though not in a linear fashion.
I think some of the best sounding guitar chords are on this album. There is a tremendous amount space in the mix too which is refreshing. Overall, it is a different kind of album than their previous work and yet they sound like Tool, maybe more developed.
