Don't know if anyone else posted this up here, but I just found it, and know people will be very interested if they haven't seen it. Especially since he's got a new pedal and amp coming out he mentions.
Multi amp rigs are the only way to get several great tones. All the rest of the goodies just add effect. The only draw back is all those cables increase the odds of having a problem. I'll bet sound check can be a pain occasionally. But it was nice to get a glimpse into Steve's world with both good information and a touch of humor. Thanks for posting.....
I didn't mean it was overkill in the amp department. Just all those effects and cables (yikes). I don't think I'd be able to put something like that together twice right heh.
I anxious to see what that new pedal sounds like. I guess he's gone away from the Boss DS-1 modded pedal for his major distortion and just moved it to the Fender amp section.
Did I miss something or did Steve not say anything about the
gaget (the one used on Sisters) that he uses for his clean tones?
I thought he never went anywhere without that thing...Mabye he's not using
it anymore..I can't remember what the dang thing is, he said in a review
of Passion And Warfare what it was....
