I don't think I saw Michael Romeo on there, or Mattias Eklundh, or Chris Broderick, or Jeff Loomis. And Alex Skolnick #100?!?!?!?!? LMFAO.

well I mean come on rusty cooley pretty much sweeps in key. He uses like the same sweep over and over just in the same key. And these guys (once again) influenced alot of people, I havnt even heard of Mattias Eklundh. Its really based on how influencing they were.

Re: What the 100 greatest guitarist should have looked like

This kind of lists are so useless....

it's all subjective... someone will say that Page is better then Hendrix, others will totally disagree...

I find it stupid that people actually waste time by making such lists...

you can't make a 100 greatest guitarist... period.

Which is quite stupid because then people like BJA and Kurt Cobain get thrown up to the top of the lists because a bunch of 12 year old girls are infatuated with them. And if you haven't heard Eklundh, I suggest you look him up on youtube or something, amazing player.

People need to realise theres more to life than notes per second and sweep picking
Correct Andy, Jimi will always be #1 on ANY list. Period.

You wouldn't "get" him because you don't feel emotion

Re: What the 100 greatest guitarist should have looked like

Such a shame Tony MacAlpine and Andy Timmons isn't on the list. Nice to see Satch at 7 and EJ at 21 though.

Edit: I now see Tony MacAlpine on the first list.
