AWESOME neck joint:
Custom shop marking:
Ultra thin contoured body:
I took received this custom shop maxxfly 7 string in January 2014 from the dealer I ordered from.
The guitar resonates well, sounds great, and is ultra lightweight - especially for a 7 string!
It's pretty much mint other than some very very mild swirl scratches and some scratches on the bridge.
I am a huge Parker fanboy and thought I would end up keeping this around as one of my workhorses but I find the ergonomics of my Teuffel Tesla 7 suit me better. This is still a really absurdly comfortable guitar though, as you can tell by the body contours.
Mahogany body and neck with a carbon fiber exoskeleton:
I've owned a few Parkers and find that the exoskeleton adds brightness. This guitar sounds a lot like my maple top, mahogany body and maple neck'd guitars. It has a bit more snap than they did but sounds darker and more gutteral.
Carbon glass fretboard:
Very smooth, doesn't require any oiling, or maintenance. Parker says that you get a very even response across the whole fretboard because of the carbon, and I would be inclined to agree.
Stainless steel frets = great for bends! They feel very smooth and slick.
25.5" scale length
Emerald Green finish (kind of tealish or super green depending on lighting)
Roundish neck on the thinner side of things
Graphtech piezo system
Volume knob, piezo volume, 3 way mag, tone knob, push/pull for split coil.
The guitar comes with the original hardshell Parker case.
If you're paying with PayPal, I can only accept payment if you are PayPal verified. This guitar would run you about $4800 new in USD. I am only asking $3800
and the guitar is about 3 months old.
Feel free to make offers. I would love an AFXII + cash. Not really looking for guitars at the moment as I'm pretty satisfied with my Teuffel Tesla.
