FS: RG 760 SUSTAINER Textured Stone Finish
For sale: RG 760 Just finished putting this one back together and sad to say that in the time that it took me to finish the project my needs have changed somewhat.
Rg 760 body and headstock just refinished in a really cool textured granite grey finish. Looks like it's carved out of stone! Installed a Fernandes Sustainer FSK-410 kit along with a new Dimarzio Evo bridge and Blue Velvet in the middle. All black hardware. Original Edge trem. The output jack position was relocated and is closer, although not exactly like a JEM out jack. Comes with a black cliplock strap installed. The guitar was originally teal and it was nearly impossible to get a convincing color match to touch up some chips so I decided to do something that would stand out a bit. The finish came out amazingly well. The back of the neck was sanded and oiled. Ultra fast and smooth. Nice bound rosewood fretboard with pearl sharkteeth. I'd probably say about 90% fretlife left. All of this work was just completed and the guitar has been played only a couple of hours sense. I am a pro amp tech and have done all of the labor myself. I do quite a bit of guitar electronics work professionally and other stuff like this for myself so I'd consider the quality of my work better than the average hobbiest, but there are pro guitar techs that could have done the routing a little cleaner, but I'm pretty proud of the way this one turned out. The only work left on the guitar is that I need to cut a new back plate (will be done tomorrow) I paid $600 for the gutiar, $220 for the Sustainer, and $140 for the Dimarzios. That isn't counting the refinish work, or the labor to route and install the electronics. Asking $900/offer. I don't have a case with the guitar, but at the buyer's option I can pick up a HSC for $100 extra to ship the guitar in. My better half is out of town with the camera, so pics coming as soon as I possibly can.
