(Posting on behalf of a friend...PM me if interested)
I'm looking to sell one of my guitars that I simply don't play anymore. It
is a mongrel/frankenguitar built from a Warmoth Carved Top Soloist body
(mahogony with AAA flame maple top) dyed black and an Ibanez S470 neck (heel
modified to a Strat heel to fit the Warmoth body). I've just purchased a
new Les Paul and really can't afford to have this one hanging around
unplayed anymore. It's an excellent quality quitar built from top quality
components and has been well taken care of. Build cost of this guitar was
$1066.65 back in 2000 and with it being a custom build, I'm not sure what I
can get for it in today's market...I'm just throwing this out there to see
if there's any interest in it. Below are complete specs and pictures of the
guitar, feedback/questions are welcome.
- Warmoth Carved Top Soloist body - Mahogony with AAA Flame Maple Top, Dyed
black top/Solid black back, two knobs (master vol and tone), recessed
battery box for active electronics, contoured heel
- Ibanez S470 Neck - Binding, oval pearloid inlays, heel professionally
modified to fit a Strat neck pocket, straight/no warping
- EMG 81/85 Active Pickups
- Schaller Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo, black
- Grover Tuners, black
- small scratches on the back
Location is Knoxville, TN.
$800
