FT: My 1999 Ford SVT 5 Speed for electric guitars??

I have a awesome Ford Contour SVT that I will trade

Please have no fear of the highway miles, as you will read below, the maintenace records are all there.... this car has over 40 document oil changes alone with receipts.... from wheel barrings to starters and everything in between, the car has been well preserved....and is 100% stock.

Rest assured that you are looking at a high quality, 2 owner vehicle (same family) ..... no accidents, no stories, no failed inspections or emissions... here for your viewing is a free carfax:

This 1999 Ford Contour SVT is in unbelievable condition...#1457 of #2760 made

(Warning: If you buy this car, expect to have people coming up to you on a regular basis to tell you they love your car...and they'll want to go for a ride too)

Rare car, #1,457 of only #2,760 made...predicted to be highly collectable in the future.
Built by the Special Vehicle Team in Kanas.
Comes with original window sticker and signed SVT certificate of authenticity.
200 Horsepower engine, which was co-designed with Porsche
5 speed manual transmission, with a competition clutch
Been in the same family since new. One owner for 7 years (62 years old)
167,000 highway miles from a 62 year old commuting 90 miles a day to work.
Runs like new....no, really... you'd swear it's got 20,000 on the odometer.
A 2 inch thick binder has in it, every receipt of everything the car has ever had done to it.
Over 40 documented oil changes
Over $4,000.00 has been spent in preventative maintenance, which has all been documented. (From new starters, & tie rods to batteries & wiper blades)
This SVT has every possible option, including a premium factory cd stereo system, leather, moonroof, dual exhaust, power everything.
Everything works... inside and out
No rust..anywhere
In 1999, this was the fastest sedan in production in it's class
Original SVT floormats preserved & protected, just put down for the photos
The car has carbon brake pads & very expensive cross drilled rotors (may be able to see in pics) that were $518.00 alone

For those interested in speed....

Ford's website list the 1999's SVT's at 0 to 60 in 7.2-7.4 seconds, with a top speed of 143mph. As a side note, as this rare car may not have been driven by some of you as much as other Ford's.... I owned a almost as nice 1993 Taurus SHO 5 speed, and while that was a nice, nice car with similar features, there is no doubt about it, this SVT is quicker in every way.... I have never owned a car with better handling and straight as an arrow alignment as this. The handling of this car is far superior to a recent model Mustang Cobra that we have in the family.

Kept in a heated garage all of it's life.....

This car is very much like a new car, with a new car scent and all. This car is immaculate inside and out, and it NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It has been serviced by the book, and has been in the hands of 2 of the pickiest owners you will ever meet.

My family have our cars serviced above and beyond all required methods. My father, myself, and all of my uncles tend to get 250,000 to 300,000 miles out of all of our cars before any major problems occur. This SVT is no exception, and it needs nothing.... it's ready for another trouble free 100,000 miles. If you drove this car, you would see what I mean. The only thing that you should be aware of are the power antenna doesn't always work, which its been like that for a few years, no big deal if you are like us and play cds all the time, and the dash up by the front windshield has a adhesive piece that has come loose (a few inches). It's been like this for 4 years, and is not noticible unless you go looking for it. There is one ding on hood (like 2 BB's side by side) and one very small slight crease (2 inches) on the drivers door

In addition to this fine automobile, and its documentation, I will be giving the new owner the following:

An additional set of 4 rims, with 4 new Bridgestone tires which are already balanced and ready for the SVT, you simply switch them for the set on it now when you are ready.
A car cover specially made for the SVT
A Uniden Laser/Radar detector that we have had professional hardwired into the car.
3 sets of wiper blades
An extra gas cap
A Chilton's SVT/Contour repair manual
2 sets of Xenon bright white European style headlights

A roadside emergency kit, which include gloves, a flashlight, a waterproof poncho..etc..in a leather carrying case (came with the car new)

More good news.....

The insurance is cheap on this car, and parts can be found anywhere, so this is the best of both worlds: A rare, exotic looking car, that's great on gas... that costs very little to maintain (especially when it gives you no problems such as this car)

Kelly Blue Book Private Party Value on This Car is $5400.00!!

I will trade someone straight across for $4,000 worth of guitar gear. Interested in electric guitars. Gibson, Fender, PRS, Ibanez mostly.
