I'm suprise no one is snatching this one up. I believe this the 2nd time he listed this ad on the Bay area. Is it the swirl? or the price or both? Imo I think it has a very good swirl.

It's close but it's not a $10,000 guitar, unless somebody just has to have the number. And he had it listed 3 times for 11.2 with a 14.5 BIN, which is what he wanted for it when he tried to sell it to me. I told him it was too high.

I agree, it is still priced too high and the swirl doesn't really do it for me personally. I think these days you're right around the 8K mark. A little higher for terrific condition, lower for lesser condition.

I dig the swirl but Rich was selling them cheaper a few months ago during that insane sale he forgot to post about here. I'm still hating myself for missing out on it. -_-

This thread is going to get moved any minute now (and rightfully so) but I believe Stealth must be referring to the Fred Koch dumping of some DNA's back into the market through Rich. I missed that too and also kicked myself. Though.. I did ultimately get one of those when the original buyer couldn't come up with the funds for 228. But I had to buy the house across the street from Rich and poured top of the line surveillance equipment into it just to have a shot at getting one! Lol.

Yeah the Koch one. So many badass pieces for very very reasonable prices.

There was something about all of them that held the price down from big money. Big money everything has to be right. Plus he bought them all in the 3's and 4k range so he didn't need to bleed every penny out of them, but in the end, IMO they were priced correctly for what he wanted to do, which was sell them, not let them collect dust waiting for the "right" buyer. In retrospect the UVRE's should have been higher, but they're such problematic guitars I let that influence the pricing that Joe Blow probably didn't care about.
