Im wondering how much I could get off a normal RRP if im buying near new 2nd hand guitars and which models would be the best to get in Australia for around $400
Anyway, it's all hit and miss how much you get knocked off of the price.
What you'll learn as you go on as a guitarist, is that used is often better than buying brand new. It really isn't much to worry about. If you've got any friends that play maybe they can help you out?
P.S.
So its far better to get a 2nd hand guitar than new, is it the same for amps?
Also the config on guitar im looking for is HSH, what models would be best to look out for?
Is there an archive of all guitars ever made somewhere (or even of 1 brand or some other aspect)
Im thinking that it might be good to get a higher model guitar than what I could afford brand new at the underr $400 mark, so are the predessors of these models simil,ar to current versions & how much would they be going for?
all of those should be in your price range second hand,
but with all second hand things you are unlikely going to find anything in immaculate condition there will always be a chip or 2 in a second hand instrument at that price
i don't know anything about washburn, yamaha suck at guitars(they make good basses and drumkits IMO)
EX's aren't bad that was my first Ibanez and my second guitar ever (1998)
it had the triangle inlays and it was black with H-S-H and a LO-TRSII
i paid $200 for it from cash converters
i sold it 6 months later to a different cash converters for $160
then 2 years after that i bought it back for $190
Yeah exactly, I have no idea how much they go for 2nd hand
So do you mind telling me which ones I would be looking at?
