Hello, Merry Christmas and happy New year!
I bought an Ibanez Jem 555, made in Korea in 2008, but there are a few things that confused me, because I did not find the information on internet.
1. On the guitar headstock is only JEM logo instead JEM Jr, and guitar from 2008. not from 1994.
2. The color of the head is slightly yellow, and the color of the body is completely white.
3. Pickguard is yellow.
I think that non-standard for this guitar from 2008. The seller told me that guitar was order to the United Kingdom market, and the buyer want to put the plate from Jem7, better neck compared to the standard variant, like a Prestige model, and these things I have already mentioned are different in relative to the standard model. So I'm interested in yours opinion, is there any possibility to order a guitar and ask for certain parts to be changed or not, because I heard that Ibanez don't make custom. I don't know is that really Jem 555 or fake.
Guitar looks good, and sounds great, of course, I'm not a connoisseur of Jem, so I'm not sure. I just want to know that is the right thing.
