Bet she's the work experience kid for the week..... "soooo, we got you for a week eh, just stand over there without a mask for the next five days spraying Nitrocellulose lacquer on these guitars" - geeze - Henry's actually turning Gibson into a sweatshop - ugh!

Just for the record, if that IS actually Nitro she's spraying on a CS Les Paul Reissue, Gibson are breaking quite a few Environmental Laws, and putting her health in danger (Nitro is NOT good stuff, lung condition wise).

Re: LGM Guitars announcement, March 21, 2006

Doesn't matter if its Nitro, Lacquer or Urethane......their all bad for you to breathe, but Urethane would be the WORST since it has a hardner....and anything that has a hardner has isocyanates which is what can cause lung cancer among other things and CANNOT be filtered out with a charcoal resperator.....only by an air supplied hood. Not only does she need to be wearing a mask, perferablly an air supplied one, but the solvents are also absorbed through the skin and eyes.....so she really needs to have a painters suit on......no wonder Gibson paint jobs are so trashy. Trash can only come from 3 places....the painter, the part being painted, and the paint booth....and from the looks of it 2 out of 3 of those don't look very clean. Can you say t-shirt in the headstock?? How about a hair net!! Who wants her hair in your $2,000+ guitar?? Geez, I would really expect a little better than that from a company like Gibson......well, no, then again I'm not suprised.
