Added LEDs to my head

I recently picked up an older V3. I have since seen that the newer models have 3 colored leds, 1 color for each channel. I thought that was rad, but I would be happy with just one color! I found a 3 foot string of LEDs on ebay for 9 bucks or so. They run on a 9v so I installed a switch between the battery and the lights( it sticks through the grate in the rear of the amp so I can turn it on and off) and here is what I ended up with:

Looks cool. So what happens when you want to remove the grille in the back to replace the tubes or do any work on the amp? Will you have to remove the switch?

If I have to, there is just one nut holding the switch in place so no biggie. The back grill is not very big. The front one is way bigger and I can get to the tubes easily that way. Those front grills are available in different colors or in diamond plate from Carvin. I'm thinking of spraying mine with black Plasti-dip and seeing how that looks. Nice thing about that is if I get tired of it or want to go back to the original color, the Plasti-dip peels right off.
