amp problem

i have a fender blues deville, i can't get power on it anymore, that is: the red light that's suposed to burn when turned on doesn't light up anymore, and the amp doesn't work offcourse. I tried plugging it in in different places, doesn't work. It's not the electricity in my house that's off, cuz all other electric equipment works. I'm guessing the amp's fuse blew? Are there any other obvious possible reasons i'm missing here ?
It's a new amp, i've only had it for 2 days!

Re: amp problem

Could be a blown fuse to something going wrong in the amp itself, it happens with tube amps if a tube goes. If its 2 days old, take it back.

Re: amp problem

You could do, but what if the fuse blows again, you have to think something caused it to blow in the first place. It's not an easy one considering the shop is an hour away, speak to them on the phone, it may be the best option to go there, just drive carefully!
