Any Laney users?

I'm still searching for a new amp to use for live rhythm and lead work in my prog metal band...
I'm a HUGE fan of Mattias IA Eklund's tone. Opeth's tone is nice, too, but i'd like to have more gain than that. I know that IA just plugs straight into his Laney, and uses the same tone for rhythm and lead work. Can any Laney users comment on if you can acheieve a similar tone? His settings are posted on his website.
Please don't misunderstand, i'm not trying to acheive someone else's tones. I like his tone a lot {especially on songs like Propaganda Pie and Heroin Breakfast}, and i think it's going in a similar dirction to what i'm after.
Thanks! ANy sound clips are much appreciated.

I use a Laney VC50, and eklundh's tone was something that helped me buy that amp.
It is a good amp, just needs tweaking, you won't get the huge gain of a mesa, but it has very nice distortion.
I tried Eklundh's setting, and it sounded good, but I had to put the presence up a lot compared to the amount he used.
To get close to his sound you are going to have to be prepared to turn it up to 3 (which is seriously, seriously loud: totally not bedroom volume).
I use a Koch attenuator with mine, so I can crank it a bit more than I could.
The clean is really great on this amp aswell, especially with the bright engaged.
