There are a lot of "guessing guys" all over the net, they keep guessing about stuff they
don't have any info, when they guess something it becomes a fact, yeah I know crazy people lol.
They say BBE brings a muddy mix to life by adding bass and treble..............WRONG.
To add bass and treble you just need an equalizer
As you can see in this picture it does a little physics trick, it cheats on low frequencies
which are bigger than high frequencies, smaller high frequencies are smashed by huge low frequencies but BBE just holds low frequencies a little beat
letting high frequencies get to to the speakers in the same time.
Picture a skinny guy trying to win a maraton but a fat guy doesn't allow him to pass, BBE tells to the fat guy..................get out of the way!
Simple but amazing.
Here's a sample made by "fearcomplexmusic"(his nick) =

Here's the same sample but with BBE holding that fat guy(lol).
Notice how it's breathing, it's like BBE removed a tampax from our ears!
2- Sample + BBE = http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10647007
You can use BBE in separate instruments or in the whole mix, it depends on what you need/want.
Anyway if you never heard about this little amazing gizmo or heard about it by those "guessing guys", now you know what it really does and you can see why all studios have at least one
