Behringer Amps

Anybody heard of these amps if so are they any good. Because I am thinking about getting one, either the GX112 or the GX110. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Regards

André

I've tried the GX112 - and you get what u pay for.
it's a transistor amp so don't expect to have a warm tube clean sound.
the dist channel is not a hit either...I didn't tried the effects so no commets there.
but if you have a multieffect with an amp modolar - it could be a great power amp .
just my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. But I've been looking a bit more around and I have settled for either the POD XT or the V-AMP2. So my new question is, when you buy the POD XT do you get a power supply along with it?

I decided to go for the Behringer V-AMP2 first because of the price and all the reviews I read on it and compared it to the POD XT. The sound samples of the POD XT are really bad on the webpage, I think at least and that made me go for the V-AMP2. I got two days ago, sweet little thing.

V-Amp Pro

I have a Pod Pro and a Behringer V-Amp Pro.
The Pod Pro was purchased brand new for $599 at GC, the V-Amp Pro was $179 new (from eBay, but still brand new in box).

The V-Amp Pro CRUSHES the Pod Pro in just about every way.
Oh how I wish I had my $599 back from the Pod Pro...

eh.

a buddy of mine has one, it's 60 watts, is a 2x12, and has lots of fancy
electronics in it. once you turn off ALL the fancy stuff, then it sounds
ok
