Re: Being ripped Off

When did you last have contact with him? Has he replied to messages? If he has not provided the item, and it's been that long with no contact--you need to let everyone know who it is and the chain of events. We sure wouldn't want anyone else to get ripped off.

Re: Being ripped Off

Well the fact is he didn't, hasn't and I suspect won't send me anything. He's answered to the e-mails always with a new excuse, the last one really worked me up, stating that I was sending too many e-mails a day, 3. He wasn't answering that's why I started sending the mails. Too many excuses to write them, the dude is morgankc.. I sent him on August the 2nd $50.00 + $30.00 for the shipping and he after saying he would refund me is now stating that he's not gonna lose anything. He hasn't any proof of posting and it really looks like I'm being taken advantage of.

Thanks regards to all,
Nelson

Re: Being ripped Off

If you paid via Paypal, your claim window is closed. However, you can file a chargeback with you CC bank. I'd also file a mail fraud claim. You'd be surprised, but you can also file an Internet fraud claim with the FBI. It ain't over yet. Make sure to also file a police report in his hometown.

Re: Being ripped Off

Don't worry it is just $80. I made the mistake of waiting too long after being ripped off. Turns out the guy is doing the same thing to countless others on many forums under different names. Stick it too him. Get the law involved. Make sure you copy all of your e-mails and other written types on interaction.

Re: Being ripped Off

Why wouldn't you bring this to one of the mods instead of posting a thread in the Gear & Equipment section?
