Blackstar + Mesa Boogie = Tone Heaven?

Hey guys, I am planning to buy a Blackstar Ht-5. I've been reading a lot about it and I hear a lot of good things. I tried it out and it sounds great through it's little extension cabinet. My major concern is how loud will the difference be if i change out the extension cab for a Mesa Boogie rectifier 2x12 cabinet? To me it seems like the best of both worlds at low volumes, but exactly how low will the volume be? I've been playing on a POD XT running into a Crate V5 tube amp (which im using as a poweramp) into a Custom Celestion speaker. I keep the POD on around 2-3 and the V5 on 4-5 and thats as loud as I want it to get for bedroom use.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Think this is a good change? Thanks.

I find V30's to sound somewhat cold and one dimentional when used at low volumes. At least with my HT-5 and V30 2x12.
For low volume I much prefer Greenbacks for their lively, and warm 3D tone. I also like GT75's with the HT-5 as they offer the extended lows and highs that the HT-5 lacks.
