cables

i wonder, does 100 meter cable weaken the signal?
i want the freedom to move on stage but not want to
buy a wireless. itīs wrapped around a reel so it can be reeled back.

For a guitar? Yes. Over about 20 feet I start to notice some treble dropoff. I wouldn't run 100 meters; at that length a *good* wireless should sound better. But try them both & see what you think.

100mt cable!?!?!?!
HAHAHA!!! hey Pace, are you gonna gig at Wembley???

well, if it's wrapped on a reel, then you won't need 100mt cable, i think 10mt would be more than enough.

100 m sure is overkill.

I'd say, go for a good quality 7 m cables, like DiMarzio, George L's or Spectraflex. Buy two. Plug one into your amp and to your pedalboards output, on to pedal board's input. THat should give ya some space...

To visualize the thing: Go outside. Place a shoebox on the ground. That's your amp. Now measure 7 m straigt from the box. That's where your board will be. Then take a 7 m piece of thin rope or string or whatever, attach the other end to the "board" and draw a circle on the ground. Now you have an installation how much space you take, or have.

DB Technology just put on the market its digital wireless (Italian patent ), i went to a demo and i also tried it myself, and you can really hear a difference from a good anolog wireless like Shure and Nady.

sure, not like black to white, but hey... no more hiss and no tone loss are biggest differences.
