A couple of amp demos

I'm slowly accumulating tube amps and trying to do a couple of demo clips with each one. So far I've done some Framus Cobra and Peavey 6505+ demos. Thought I'd post them here for you guys as, best I can tell, demo clips that aren't recorded with a video cam's mic are quite thin on the ground.

None of the recordings have any post EQ or trickery done to them. At most there's a little bit of 'mastering' done just to boost the level of the overall mixes. I state in each video what's being used, but generally it's a boost, the amp and a speaker sim.

Next on the list will be an Engl Powerball.

Please comment, rate and leave questions. More than happy to help and record specific things with them. If you want to hear a specific channel or setting, just let me know.

Framus > Peavey.

Great playing and compositions,'solo for greg' was sweet.

Re: A couple of amp demos

I prefer the Framus, too. I really like the Peavey, but it's very much a one-trick pony. The EQ section doesn't really alter the sound too much. The Framus has a lot of options for tone. It's also a much more versatile amp, with its three channels and the options on each channel.

Can't quite get a satisfying lead sound out of the Peavey, but I suppose that's down to time and experimenting.

Thanks for checking, man.
