DS-1 - good price?

got me a magazine from this place called American Musical Supply's (www.americanmuscial.com) and they have a new DS-1 for $39.95 plus shipping and handling. I know this is a good price over an 80 doller pedal but should I jump on this deal now? I have the money and play a lot of Satch and Rhoads...btw...has any every used a Distortion+ pedal from MXR as a "booster" pedal?

rsvampire,

I just sold mine, used but with box and manual for $45, so I'd say jump on it! *Let me know if they have an Ibanez AD99.

later,
Chris

Sure, not bad price for being new.

Check around used, you can find them for as low as $25 on places like Harmony Central and stuff. I got my Japanese DS-1 for $50...those sell up to $85 some places.

I don't see an AD-99 my friend....sorry...and used? I've had a lot of bad experiances with used gear......so I'd rather stick with new so if it breaks it's because of my own atire not because some dummy dropped it or spilled a glass of water on it. I personally don't care if it's the Jap or whatever the other model is.
