Re: fender g-dec

I own the 30 watt G-deck, with the foot controller.
Well worth the money they want new for one, but you should be able to find a used one for a 1/3rd the cost.
Great amp for learning impoving, and will sharpen your ear.
all the tones sound great when playing along with the built in tracks, but very few of them sound good on there own.
Its awesome to have the backing tracks, there are some heavey ones, I use my 7 string on a few.
Great practice partner period!
Plus it has some built in soft ware, to where you link it to your computer, and Blam you have a small recording studio, that you can put on the g-dec, or save on your computer.
Over all great little amp, as long as its used by itself.

Do yourself a favor, and spend the money and get the foot controller!

Re: fender g-dec

This guy has a good demo on his page
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...em-subs_digest

He uses it exclusively for all his videos and has both the original and G-DEC3

Re: fender g-dec

Dave Weiner should be Fender's spokesman for this amp. He uses a G dec 30 for his JamPlay live chats and his internet lessons. It sounds great. I plan to get one soon.
