Re: Gear help needed

Ok, so I got everything right besides the Piranha...not too bad.

I think there is a player and a wireless unit in the middle...

Re: Gear help needed

the 3rd one from the top could be a Behringer Feedback Destroyer Pro DSP1124P too, they both are identical, or even the ultramizer.

Re: Gear help needed

I'll say it's the Modulizer, if you go by the smaller black labels under the 2nd, 4th, and 5th sets of buttons

Re: Gear help needed

I was thinking that to, not based off the bars, but by the large black blank spot in the display area on that last pic, so with the little bars too, that really nails it.

Re: Gear help needed

Well, I did say it was the moduliser a few posts up. Although I must confess that I didn't think of the other two units. I just assumed it's an fx processor.

Re: Gear help needed

So, going back on topic, none of this is particularily expensive or high-end gear. Food for thought.

No biggie. That was fun, we should do it more often.

(Last night it was the perfect alternative to preparing a presentation on EU pension reforms)

'So, going back on topic, none of this is particularily expensive or high-end gear. Food for thought.'

true, Emppu used Washburn CS780 guitars for most of his career up until switching to ESP customshop. Those CS780 are only about 200 and he was touring the world with them.

As much as I like Nightwish, his tone doesn't sound high-end or exensive. Check out that solo on eclipse. It sounds like a POD through some headphones or something.

Re: Gear help needed

But NNS likes it, so now he knows that he doesn't need to sell his car to get get the same equipment as Mr. Nightwish.

Not that this will make him sound anywhere close, but that's another 35-page debate.

Re: Gear help needed

LOL, true indeed, though I'm not after the 'sound of Mr. Nightwish', theres just something in the crunch on the 'End of Innocence' DVD that I really like and I was wondering what kind of stuff would create that sort of sound.
