Gear help needed

Okay, I have a Nightwish DVD and I really like the tone on it, and I'm trying ti identify the kind of gear the guitarist is using. I have some fuzzy pics and if anyone could try and identify anything it would be really helpful.

These are DVD screenshots, which as far as I'm aware is fair use if they are used to illustrate something. If there are any problems I will delete them.

Re: Gear help needed

well looks like a blurry Korg Tuner up top,
then a blurry red line, a blurry silver line, a blurry black line then an open space.
Maybe if you go to your local music store and squint real hard, or cry and look at their rack products, something will look familiar.

Re: Gear help needed

Ok, I am only doing this because I am procrastinating, and I like a challenge:

From top:

Korg DTR-2
Older BBE sonic maximiser (?)
Behringer Moduliser Pro

The rest is not clear enough, but I'll find out what it is.

Re: Gear help needed

I went to their website hoping for some answers for you, then I saw one of the guitar players top 5 albums ever was the black album from Metallica. Now I'm just disappointed.

Nah, sorry, the TC G Major has a black face plate - that looks to be silver / anodised aluminium - might be some Roland rack thingy.......

I though something in there might have been a Marshall JMP1 preamp, which would sort of make sense if the power amp is a Marshall, but like someone else said, it looks loke a red line, then a silver line, then ......

Not being much help here......

well, considering its nightwish, I think it may be there for chorus or orchestra parts. and yeah, that isn't a JMP-1, it is a 120 valvestate pro.
