Gmajor

I've heard lots of people on this board using these. I've never used rack mount stuff before. Does the gmajor have any type of noise filter/supressor built in along with other effects. Can you use multi effects togather. What about plugging into a computer to record? Thanks for the help.

noise supression - yes, it is ok

multieffects together - if you mean can the G major use delay and chorus at the same time.. then yes is the answer.

recording using computer - the g major has rca left and right out. so i assume you can direct into a computer, don't know if it will sound very good though

there aren't many processors (if any) that will have a great recording tone directly into a computer and have a fantastic noise reduction. Unless maybe you use a multieffects that is all in one preamp/effects/cab sim etc. maybe a boss GT Pro rackmount.. i dunno. multieffects that are just effects are generally used in the loop of a guitar amp, and should be returned into the loop return on the amp and then outputted (word? haha) through a speaker cab. you could try a rocktron xpression.. i think it has a record/line out kinda thing with a cab simulator. but for noise reduction most people will tell you to go with an external unit, like a rocktron hush or ISP decimator

Re: Gmajor

From the research I've done, I've found that the G Force is a way better unit..Of course with that comes a higher price.. Not that price matters to me!!

Re: Gmajor

well its pretty obvious that a gforce will be better than a gmajor considering the gforce is like 1400 new and the gmajor is 400.. 1000 more dollars oughta get you more. G major is still great for the price
