Good instrument USB microphone

Hello, are there any good usb instrument mics? I'm planning to use it with the Peavey Vypyr 75 amplifier and I don't have mixing board and don't wanna buy one either, so its best to buy an instrument usb mic. Please give me few suggestions.

Re: Good instrument USB microphone

I have no idea how good it is for electric guitar, but a friend of mine uses one called the "Snowball" that's a very simple and compact deal. He recorded his last acoustic EP on it (guitar and voice) and it sounds plenty good for what it is.

Re: Good instrument USB microphone

It all depends on how much you want to spend really. you can get an SM57 with the USB module for about $140:

You can also buy the Blue Snowball that gauchosilvertone was referring to...

Or you can get a package deal, like this one:

P.S.: Mods, someone needs to reassess the link posting policy. It's quite annoying that we can't post genuine links to sites to help other members out.
