Good rack based noise supressors/gates

Any recommendations? I tried the rocktron hush super c and it really didn't do what i wanted it to.

I normally place the gate just before the power amp, or in the last stage possible to get rid of as much as possible. This may be the wrong place though, I dunno.

Any case, what i want it for is to partially gate the guitar signal, and then to get rid of a lot of the noise introduced by the triaxis.

Re: Good rack based noise supressors/gates

the ISP Decimator ProRackG is a two channel noise reduction. the first channel is used to eliminate sound from your guitar (60/50 cycle hum, pedal noise, etc). then the second channel is used to clean up noise coming from your preamp. run in the loop. Rack effects (at least in my experience add almost no noise to your signal, so it's best to put the noise reduction right after your preamp. Here is how i will be running mine when i get all the cables i need.

guitar -> pedals -> ProRackG Ch1 -> Mark IV input

then in loop

ProRackG Ch2 -> GMajor -> BBE

i bought the unit based on very reviews and sound clips.. so we'll see how it turns out.
