HBE Frost Bite Flanger

I've been looking at getting a better flange pedal for quite a while, I've got the old Boss unit, which is ok, but I'm really looking for something that can give me a more vintage and less digital sound.

Being a PG fan, I instantly looked at the deluxe electric mistress. Nice sounding stuff, pretty cool, but at about $500 AUD here in the land of Aus, I wanted to make sure I am getting the right thing.....

That said, from what I have heard from the demos on youtube from proguitarshop.com, I have recently been really impressed with the HBE pedals. Tonight, I noticed that they (HBE) have a new Flange pedal offering, called the Frost Bite Flanger. The link is here:

All I can say is wow - what a sound!!!!! I want one bad...... From what I can hear, sounds like you can get everything from a subtle swoosh to an ADA/PG style saturation/pitch bend sound........

Does anyone know a guitar store that actually stocks HBE pedals here in Aus????

Sounds good - would be interested to compare with the PG Airplane Flanger, as they both seem to have been based on the ADA.

Just had a listen - bad idea as I now want one and I promised myself no more pedals
