lock-tite, and make sure you tighten it with a wrench after spraying.

Why would you try lubricants to keep it from working itself loose?
Is it getting loose in the hole (that's what she said), or is it the end that's on the strap?

Try either filling and re-drilling the hole if its on the body end or putting a few tooth picks in there and don't over tighten the screws

If the screws are coming out, then the hole is stripped. Either fill them and re drill them or put a few toothpicks in the hole, snap off the excess and put the screws back in without over-tightening them. Unless your screws are haunted, they aren't unscrewing themselves.

Yep, toothpicks in the hole, and then a drop of blue Loctite on the lock

Screws on the guitar:

Put Toothpicks in hole, cut everything that extends to the outside with a toenail clippper.

Put Blue Loctite on the screw.

Screw it in gently, do not overtighten.

Let the guitar rest for 24 hours.

On the strap:
Put it together put some CA on it, let it rest 24 hours.
