Humidity/temperature

Hey

I keep my guitar in a room (in the basement) that has close to 50% relative humidity, and more than 21C/70F degrees...
Is this too much? Whats the optimal conditions for my guitar?

(Sorry about the post in the other section, I guess this was the right place to post this)

From what i've read, 50% humidity is optimal, and that temperature range should be fine. If it's comfy for you, it'll be comfy for your guitar.

The main thing you need to be concerned about with temperature is taking the guitar from one extreme to another. Always let it acclimatize in its case before opening it when moving from the cold to a warm room or vice versa.

50% humidity feels a bit high i think , the other rooms in the house is about 40. But i guess it isnt that bad then
