track7, I was just about to order one of those DS-1 from AnalogMan
myself. I was hoping this Paycheck, but money is rather tight right now.
You'll have to tell me how it sounds, and what your running it through!

Since people seem displeased with my tone in my MP3s, maybe it's time
for me to re-evaluate my sound...

Well I've been thinking about getting a Rivera TBR SL1 for ages now (I have a love/hate relationship with my Mesa Mark IV and the hate side is winning right now) and I just found out they're discontinued now.. So maybe I'd better grab one before they get too expensive, aye? Anyone have any sound samples? I've heard Jeffrey's song, but I'd like to hear what it can do in terms of singing leads, cleans.. basically something that isn't metal

Geat idea!

I haven't got a load of gear, but if I can help anyone with sound clips I would be happy to. Don't want to list my gear as it would make me feel like a looser.

Regards

Euph

Great idea. A new section in the forum would be ideal, this could be big..

My Gear:

Ibanez JS1000BTB
Hohner L59

Marshall VS100R Head + Marshall Angled VS 4x12 compact cab
Marshall Valvestate 8040 combo

Vox Wah
Marshall BluesbreakerII
Boss DS-2 (Turbo Distortion)
Boss BF-2 (Flanger)
Boss OC-2 (Octave)
Korg AX1G
Arbiter FuzzFace (original 70's, Blue finish)

Like to hear:

Not desperate for this, but curious to hear a Vox Wah with a Roger Mayer upgrade (if that's even possible - Crybaby mod only??). Mine's starting to pick up Radio Signals and I can't source the problem

Edit: Forgot about the FuzzFace

Maybe we'd put up a website especially for this, with a few people of this forum to organize and such...

Ibanez rg 570 w/ tone zone in bridge..(soon to be emg 85's and sa)

I probably can't help much, but I have a Squire Strat (blech) with DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, and a Line6 Flextone II with Floorboard.

My rig:

RG3120 (Air Norton and Tone Zone pickups)
Laney GH100L head (hopefully I get a cabinet soon)
Line 6 POD
Bad Horsie wah
DOD YJM308

Yes, yes.......I bought the new Yngwie pedal I was skeptical at first......but after giving it an initial test run at GC, I absolutely loved it. I was gonna get a tubescreamer, but I got this one instead.....makes for a excellent boost
