I'm thinking my baby needs a tune-up

Ok, my TBR is starting to do some odd things. For one, when I mess with the presence or focus knobs, the sound will fade in and out, and now when I dont touch a thing while playing it's starting to do the same thing. Vaijem777, what's that service they did on yours? I think mine needs the same thing. It's also making some noises and whatnot.

I sent mine back directly to Rivera (can't beat it!). Paul Sr. and Eric shared the work on mine. They replaced a bunch o' caps, a few pots, a couple of the jacks, a couple of tube sockets and basically made it just like new. Mine was one of the first TBRs made, and it had been well-loved, so...it was in need of a tuneup.

With parts and labor, it ran me $150 plus shipping ($30 each way via UPS). They were VERY fair on the labor fees- Eric put about 5 hours into it, but they only charged me for one. They're great guys and are very easy to deal with. I was only without my baby for 3 weeks, so it was pretty painless.
