Post Jem Tremelo Help XD

Hey so im making a custom ibanez jem77

Link (FIX THE HTTP ORELSE IT BLOCKS! )
h ttp://simscustomshop.com/Quickstart/ImageLib/JembodyONE.jpg

THAT LINK IS NOT THE EXACT GUITAR, BUT IT IS THE SAME AS THE ONE I WILL BE BUYING FROM BAY!

I am not sure what i should use, i looked at the 77 specs and i saw that the edge pro trems where around 300, i would like to pay like... 100-200 dollars on a good f. rose trem.

Can anyone give me some good trems that are cost effective please.

I also am not sure how to install them, that well, so if someone knows where i can find the diagram i would be very greatfull!

Thanks,
Brett

Exclamation Re: Jem Tremelo Help XD

Is the Gotoh the best trem for its price? also is this a Floyd rose trem, or is it another brand?

I want to pay around 100-200 i guess.

Please give me your input.

gotoh make very good licensed floyd rose trems, they come on suhr guitars (i think...).

IMO, just get an original edge.

Re: Jem Tremelo Help XD

The thing is....

Gotoh are said to be just as good as edge pros

Edge-250-350US

Gotoh 100-250US

See the difference? and there said to be both very stable and basically the same.

Re: Jem Tremelo Help XD

Gotoh's are spose to be just as good as Edge Pro's, And the originol edge looks a bit crappy, not going to lie

So all in all i guess the Gotoh is the best cost efficacy Trem?
am i right? any comments?

Re: Jem Tremelo Help XD

Ok so i bought a "Gotoh Licensed Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo R2 Nut Black" for only 160US. the other ones where like 185+

Is this the best Gotoh? and is it just as good as a Edge pro? also... will it fit in a custom jem body made my Monsterguitarshop.com?

Thanks
