line6xt pro?

right now im using my dads guitar rack system and now he wants it back, lol. so i was thinking for a preamp/effects processor get a line6xtpro, you think that is a good? im trying not to spend that much, so i figured line6 would be a good way to go, ive also thought of the boss-gt pro rack but its a lot more money so i cant decide .

Re: line6xt pro?

Youll get good tones out of the line 6 and thats all you need to worry about. It will be hard to switch from tube to analog though i would expect.

Truth be told no magic box will get you to sound like steve vai, but the thing has plenty of good vailike sounds in it.
