Lo-TRS vs Edge

Hello everyone...I am new to Ibanez guitars and was wondering what the difference between a Lo-TRS and Edge were..What warrants their price differences???...Is the Edge that much better of a tremolo??? ..This may be an elementary question to all of you Ibanez enthusiasts....I have played a Kahler for years and love it, but I wanted to put an Ibanez trem on the new Ibanez body that I purchased....

as yurich said, yes, the edge is way better than any variation of the TRS. You will be far happier with an edge, or lopro edge than a TRS

If you get a guitar equipped with lo-trs, change with anything
you can get your hands on.... a homemade system is better even, made from rubberbands and a clothehangar
I've never tried a more reliable trem than the edge series.

do not mix up Lo-TRS and LoPro, they are way different in quality (and though in tuning stability).

The "normal" Edge and Lo Pro Edge are equal in quality. The difference is the position of the fine-tuner. Something you should decide with your personal preferences.

The TRS-trems are for the less pricier modells. Do NOT get one of those.

The double-edges do have piezos elements for "acoustic" sound. They are avaiable as Edge and LoPro (though not as a spare part yet... Ibanez is missing something there.

Well, and on this years NAMM Ibz introduced new trems, have a look at the topics.
