Luxury problem

Hi there,

Got a bit of a problem.
I going to buy a new amp and i'm not sure what amp i should get.
i've got an Engl 50 Thunder 50 at home to try out but i can't test all of them. So i'm looking for some good advice and reviews....
Options are:

Fender Hotrod DeVille 212
Peavey Classic 50 212
Marshall JCM2000 TSL 601
Engl Screamer 50

Who can help me out here

it depends on many factors...

what sound are you looking for?
what style do you play?
what guitar(s)?

etc...

My main guitar is an Ibanez JEM777 SK so a lot of output

I now have a Marshall Valvestate 100 watt 1/2stack(!)

go for the ENGL, or for the Peavey. The DeVille is more for blues, as far as i know.

(blues/rock with an SK?!?)

Definitely the Screamer! More gain than the Thunder, 4 channels, etc... I play the Savage Special Edition and I will never sell that amp

What? Did I miss the Egnater on his original list?

The Engl Screamer is definitely the most versatile of the amps on your list. It's got tons of gain and cleans up nicely as well.

Go for it.

Mmm, I asked this question before, but I really don't know what Engl's activity in the States is. Are they easily obtained in the States, what do they cost etc. Engl is definitely taking over quite a share of the market here in Europe, but in America it seems to be a problem to get them...

Check www.engl-amps.com to see if there is a dealer-list

Good luck!
