Re: Malmsteen Tone and tone in general

I will tell you all right now get the dimarzio HS3 neckpickup (Yngwies first sig pickup) throw it in any guitar and bam yngwies tone. I have it in my 87 rg560 and its a dream pickup its the blusiest (if thats a word) pickup I have ever had and I will tell you with the exception of my jems I was constantly going through pickups; Bill Lawrences (both sides of that waring camp), Duncans, EMG, custom wounds, and of course dimarzio. Now with the said exception for my jems all my bridge pickups are Dimarzio MOJO's and the necks are all HS3's I put the YJM in and it just didn't have the luster. I know what everyones gonna say but i'm telling you try it and you will see...
