Marshall 9200 - whadda ya think?

I just browsed through Rick Beatty's studio (lots of NICE toys) and noticed the Marshall 9200 in his rack.
I am seriously considering one of these babys and was wondering if any owners would like to comment

Marshall 9200

I used to have one of these and it was great. *It did however develop a fault and have to be fixed.

I prefered the 5881 valve sound to some EL34 valve power amps I have used and the two voicings on it were not too bad. I usually had it set on the more distorted one. The voicings can be switched using a jack.

It wasnt really what I wanted sound-wise and so I sold it and got myself a Mesa 2.90 which I found to be better.

(I also used to have other Marshall power amps 9100, 9005, 8008, 8004)

Best wishes
