Marshall Guv'nor pedal

Found an old black Marshall Guv'nor Overdrive pedal. Haven't been able to play it yet because I'm amp-less. Anyone know anything about this pedal?

Re: Marshall Guv'nor pedal

Awesome pedal, both very tone sculptable and highly collectable. A buddy lent me his and I ended up using it with my Vintage Modern combo...WHOA! Talk about waking up a tube amp!!!

I didn't get to use it with my Mesa, but try it with a Marshall for some AWESOME overdrive/blues/rock tones. Hold onto that pedal, it is really natural and organic.

I LOVE MINE! it's a very smooth overdrive, especially when coupled with a spring/hall reverb. sounds great for anything from zaza to vai to eric johnson. i play it through a clean 2x12 hybrid peavey heritage.

Re: Marshall Guv'nor pedal

look at the label and see if it`s a Uk made one....some were chinese or indonesian...Uk made ones will be worth considerably more, ...great pedal either way...;-)
