Mesa Boogie 20/20 Power Amp - How Loud?

How big a venue could I fill if I was running a POD Pro and a Mesa Boogie 20/20 Power amp? My local venue is about 10 metres x 10 metres. Is this loud enough?

I don't think you'll have much of a problem being heard.
Most times even with my main rig, I'm being mic'ed out into a P.A.

In a 70' X 70' (say 23m X 23m) room with a couple hundred people in it, my 20/20 keeps up fine pushing a pair of 1x12" Mesa cabs. In a room that's 30 feet a side, you'll be plenty loud. Outdoors, or in really big halls, you'll have to run an XLR line out from the 20/20 to the PA, but that's no biggie either so long as they have the hole on the board...

Like Bamm said, I would expect you'd be mic'd to a PA to get a good mix. The 20/20 should do fine.

i run a Mesa 20/20 with a peavey rock master tube preamp in a 1x12 rack combo i built. i run the +3 dB output of the preamp into the power amp to overdrive the input a bit, and it's all dirty tones, no clean. i could not turn the power amp above 1 o'clock at an outdoor field gig for fear of completely blasting away the rest of the band. and i really wanted to, it was a big field!

it won't do crystal clean at those volumes, the power tubes will get gritty, but it will easily fill a room. like any good tube amp, the closer you run it to its limit, the better it sounds.
