Mesa TriAxis - 2 short samples

Here are 2 short samples recorded with a point-and-shoot Sony camera, for any Mesa/Ibanez/DiMarzio fans out there.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VOHPT7RD (crunch, then lead)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EDZB08UD (short lead sample)

Gear used: RG with Evos -> TriAxis on Lead 2 Yellow -> GT-8 for reverb and delay -> back into TriAxis -> 2:90 (presence at 12:00, level at 9:00, no switches engaged) -> 2x12 Rectifier

Things were done very quickly when nobody was home, with the only intention of showing my current tones. Consider that my camera couldn't pick up all the low end, as it would also make the highs sound less natural than they really are, and both samples were recorded using the smallest resolution available, for quick upload, which also compromises sound quality.

Cheers!

Re: Mesa TriAxis - 2 short samples

Deep/modern on the 2:90 or Deep/half gain?

I can't decide on what next Mesa to add to my rig. Either TriAxis or IIC+...right now i'm leaning to IIC+, but the Triaxis is definitely cheaper and seems more tonally versatile.

The switches were all off. The TriAxis is great for versatility and sounds pretty close to the real thing IMO. Just be careful with old units on 3bay. Thanks for watching!
