NAD - New Amp Day... Pics inside :)

Ok ...

So I recently sold my Mesa Nomad 100 1x12 combo, just wasn't digging it and the gain wasn't to my liking...

After much searching for the perfect combo, I decided i want a seperate head and 2x12 cab.. Its my first ever head and I cant wait to use it at rehersal next...

Cool beenz. I think I might have seen you lugging the Nomad at a rehearsal studio a few months ago, but since I've only seen you in avatar form I wasn't sure if it was you.

Why'd you go for another Mesa? I like Rectifiers for some things but not for others. I tried quite a few amps before settling on my Marshall DSL50, but I sometimes use my drummer's Rectifier in rehearsal and it sounds cool.

Hey mate... you should have come up and said hi
What rehersal studio was it ?

I went for another Mesa, because I liked the mesa I had before just not the gain.. Only played a little so far on the rectifier, but im loving the type of gain I can get....

Plus I love the mesa brand, and resale value is so good, I cant go wrong when its time to sell..

Cheers !!

Is it a version I or II ?

Other than the old 2 channel dual recs, I love the single recs! They have a great voice of their own. Make sure to grab a Tube Screamer and run it up front for some extra tightness!

Hydra.

If I ever buy another amp again, which I don't really foresee since I dig my Marshall so much, it'd probably be a Mark V (or an Egnater).

Love the Mesa stuff. It's just so well built, so much attention to detail. That's a great setup, you should be able to run it really hard without going deaf too.
