In Need Of a New amp

Hey guys, well im starting to get fed up with my little 19w, it was alright at first but i want something a little better now.

Anyway im after:
30w-50w
Solid State (Transistor) (valves are probably too much out of my price range)
2 Channels (Lead, Clean)
Effects Loop
Possibly under $220USD

All ill be using it for is practice and maybe later down the track just jamming sessions with friends.
So anyone know of any reasonable amps that are sort of what im looking for.

Also anyone know any good shops to buy them from.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Sounds like a Line 6 Spider or VOX Valvetronix would do the trick. You can check out the sounds of them on line.

Re: In Need Of a New amp

dude go w/ a roland cube 30x .... its about $230 and has great effects! if u wanna spend a little bit more and get about 3X the amp get the cube 60 for $345. i personally would spend the extra money and get the cube 60 because its much louder and i have yet to hear a bad review about it!

i would stray away from the lower model line 6's their high end stuff like the vettas are amazing but the spiders turned up to more than 1/4 volume sound horrible. Vox is definitely another option but id still choose the roland over it....i think the modeling is a lot better on the roland!

Re: In Need Of a New amp

Save your money until you can get something better. There's no reason to upgrade just a little. If you drop $220 on an amp now, that puts you $220 farther away from an amp that will be much more useful to you in the long run.
