Need your help: short guitar amp survey

I have a couple of friends that are working on a marketing project and they want to gain some information about how us (guitar players) perceive certain brands in regards to being "high end" or "low end" among a few other things.

It's a really short survey (3 questions) and will probably take you a minute to answer all the questions. If you have the time/desire to fill it out i sincerely appreciate it! They're actually doing this research in-conjunction with my senior design project, where we are building a modeling vacuum tube amp.

for those with the desire:

thanks for your time!!

EDIT: the survey is over! thanks to all who contributed!

Done, and you're welcome. I did a music gear-based market research project myself while I was in college (memories, memories...)

Re: Need your help: short guitar amp survey

thank you very much for responding
I'm hoping these guys get enough surveys to make their market analysis worth-while. I'll post up some results when i get them.

Re: Need your help: short guitar amp survey

Yup. Someone else had that question as well, so I asked the group to change that in the survey. Sorry about that.

Thanks to everyone for all the input!! I really appreciate it

Too vague to be of any use if you ask me, so I didn't participate, sorry.

Re: Need your help: short guitar amp survey

Done, although I too agree about it being a little vague. I mean, Fender and Marshall run the gambit from beginner low end or very few features to pretty high end and tones of switches and knobs...

Re: Need your help: short guitar amp survey

The reason why the list includes those 5 companies is because they all have products (Marshall JMD, Line6 SpiderValve, Peavey Vypr, etc.) which are similar to what my design group is planning to build: a modeling based tube amp head. Fractal obviously isn't an amp head, but it's included, i think, to gauge people's interest in modeling software. I believe the trend is that most people tend to associate Line6 modeling with being "cheap", whereas the Axe-Fx is more on the "high end" side of the modeling world. Of course, all this was based off the Line6 stuff before they released all these new HD sims.
hope that helps

Re: Need your help: short guitar amp survey

I was informed by the marketing group that they now have enough results, so the survey is over. Thank you all so much for taking the time to contribute your input to this
I sincerely appreciate it! you guys are the best!!!

For those interested, once we actually get into the build phase of our amp i'll make sure to post a few pictures along the way.

Re: Need your help: short guitar amp survey

You pulled it off once it was over? Now this thread is pointless because I can't even see the results.
