New gear day...!

Hello all,

Well, today was New Gear Day for me. I've just bought a couple of pedals off a friend for £60 in total.

One was a Jim Dunlop Cry Baby, the GCB-95 model, the other a Chorus pedal, an ancient thing called a Coron DC-862... never heard of it, but it was made in Japan. Looks like it was made in the early 1980s.

Both sound absolutely fabby... been after a chorus and wah for quite a while!

Both pedals are very simple, the wah has a simple on-off switch and that's it, sounds great, and the Chorus has only two controls, rate and Intensity. I've found the best setting seems to be with Rate at about half and Intensity at full. Sounds sublime.

Now I'm off to make myself a pedal board... a spare bit of plywood and some gaffa tape will do

Incedentally, the other pedal I use is an equaliser. How would I connect them up, i.e. what goes first etc. ? I'm running everything into the amp front end. I was thinking Wah>EQ>Chorus>Amp, would that be OK?

Cheers
