I know a few people were asking whether there'd ever be another Bass POD. And the Vetta II looks very interesting

i'm interested in the Bass Pod xt. I have a Pod xt and even though it has it's bugs it is a really cool little effects box.

The Variax sounds like poo, imo. I like their amps, don't like the guitar.

Well, given that the software on the old vetta can be updated to the vetta-II free, the only difference would be cosmetics and a digital i/o add-on card. so considering the cost of the card, i don't forsee a very very significant drop in price for the old vetta.

then again, wtf do i know?

A lot of people will dump their old Vettas just to get rid of that shiny plastic bulge with line 6 logo on top of it. The new one sure does look better. They may have hired a real designer or something.

Dont underestimate a market dictated by stupid people. Ill bet anyone good money the Vetta really drops in price when the new version comes out. Vetta isnt the first product to have a new updated version in which the original is only a software update away, and yet the original still drops dramatically in price.
