Question Non-locking Trems: Best for tuning stability..?

With locking tuners and a graphite nut, what would hold tuning stability better, a traditional 6 point/screw trem or a 2 point fulcrum trem?

If it helps, I do not need to pull up.

Trying to steer clear of a Floyd.

I'd go two point -- less opportunity for binding and friction. But both should work well with a graphite nut and locking tuners.

definitely two point. Gotoh/wilkinson is very good, all steel and comfortable for your arm.

If your neck can support one of those Fender LSR roller nuts, it really makes a world of difference when using a non-locking trem.

Switched over to that after I used the new American strats and felt how insanely stable the trems are after rediculous whammy abuse...haven't looked back since.

Wilkinson steel with graphite or roller saddle.

Better late than never!

This. And it's a 2 point; I can give you the precise model Graphtech XL teflon impregnated permanently lubed nut, which is a 100% drop-in ($13.95), too:

Even a Bigsby will be nice and stable if you use this: http://www.bigbends.com/

I have always had the best stability from the old original Floyd Roses
